FAIRFIELD — From historic fire trucks to fine art, Solano County offers a wide variety of museums and galleries.
The Benicia Capitol State Historic Park and Vacaville’s Peña Adobe offer an insight into the area’s history.
The same is true for the Mare Island Museum and Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum, both in Vallejo.
Trains and planes also have a home at the Western Railway Museum in Rio Vista and the Travis Air Museum, respectively.
